IAA Announcement - New Guarantees Available

Thu 4th April 2024

We are delighted to announce that The IAA are now the largest provider of approved guarantees in the market and equally excited to announce that we are now able to offer guarantees for all heating measures, draught proofing including Airex and Pitch Roof, to compliment our existing full range of Building Fabric, Heating Controls and Microgeneration Technology Guarantees

Guarantees for Heating Measures, Heating Controls and Draught Proofing will be available to installers who do not hold PAS for those measures with The IAA, but can provide evidence of current PAS certification with an alternative body.

In the case of these measures, application for a guarantee will require a simple ISA lodgement post install with details of the manufacturer's warranty and response to a series of yes/no compliance questions which are relatively straight forward.
Guarantees are available for 2 years, competitively priced and available with immediate effect.

Launch of The Installation Assurance Authority Federation

Mon 18th March 2024
We are delighted to announce the launch of The Installation Assurance Authority Federation (The IAAF), as an industry federation aimed at supporting Small to Medium Enterprises operating across the Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Low Carbon Heating Footprint.  This newly formed federation will represent the interests of  installers and individuals, who will primarily deliver the Energy Efficiency Retrofit of the UK’s 29 million existing homes, as well as our public and private sector building stock.  It will provide representation for the industry nationally and help to support and shape Government(s) policy, ensuring that practical standards can be consistently delivered, to high quality.

Net Zero 2050

The Government have declared a climate crisis and are committed to Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050 - domestic dwellings account for 17-19% of carbon emissions, only by tackling the energy efficiency of building fabric as a part of deep retrofit will we deliver Net Zero 2050.

Too often installer have suffered from the reputation of those lesser organisations who have served to profit from the industry whilst seeking lowest cost and lowest compliance options for delivery. The IAA is committed to building on the current first-class installers who already use CIGAs extensive offering and provide these services across the insulation industry as a whole.

The IAA are commited to net zero and the future so much so we have created our own net zero pledge, sign up to The IAAs net zero pledge here: www.theiaa.co.uk/net-zero-2050/.
