IAA Announcement - New Guarantees Available

We are delighted to announce that The IAA are now the largest provider of approved guarantees in the market and equally excited to announce that we are now able to offer guarantees for all heating measures, draught proofing including Airex and Pitch Roof, to compliment our existing full range of Building Fabric, Heating Controls and Microgeneration Technology Guarantees
 
Guarantees for Heating Measures, Heating Controls and Draught Proofing will be available to installers who do not hold PAS for those measures with The IAA, but can provide evidence of current PAS certification with an alternative body.
 
In the case of these measures, application for a guarantee will require a simple ISA lodgement post install with details of the manufacturer's warranty and response to a series of yes/no compliance questions which are relatively straight forward.
Guarantees are available for 2 years, competitively priced and available with immediate effect.
 
The normal process for building fabric guarantee continues to apply and applicants who wish to purchase a guarantee for Loft, Cavity, EWI, IWI, Hybrid, Flat Roof, Pitched Roof, Room in Roof must either have their PAS with The IAA or be members of The IAA Able To Pay scheme, although we will consider providing guarantees to installers using an alternative PAS certification body subject to having a data sharing agreement in place with that body and mandated use of The IAA ISA platform.
 
Commercial and New Build guarantees are available for all technologies.  In addition we have recently been asked about IWI guarantee for buildings over 11 metres, and we can confirm that these are available subject to System Designer sign off for the project.
 
Having reviewed the requirement for Park Home guarantees, The IAA is prepared to consider a 10 year guarantee outside of Government funded schemes (which requires a 25 year guarantee) on a case by case basis, but as yet will not be offering a 25 year guarantee for this measure. This is currently under review in terms of limitations on scope due to wider concerns around the lifespan of the building envelope.
 
Having gone through the Trustmark Financial Protection Panel approval process we can confirm that all of our guarantees are approved by the panel unlike some of the recent products being offered to the market. However moving forward we are prepared to consider a broader scope of cover outside of the immediate ECO and public funded schemes mandated requirement.
