The IAA Microgeneration Guarantee

The IAA recognises the need to provide guarantees for consumers installing microgeneration technology including Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Solar Heating and Battery Storage and some of the past short comings of the cover provided.   

The IAA Microgeneration Guarantee provides the confidence that work is carried out to the highest standard, and should there be a failure in workmanship or design, The IAA is there to put it right regardless of the trading status of the installer.  

The IAA Microgeneration Guarantee is now open to applications with guarantees available for issue from 22nd November 2023.  The guarantees are available to IAA certificated members and members of other certification schemes recognised by The IAA, where applicants sign up and comply with the guarantee scheme Terms and Conditions.
