Procurement Framework
Why did The IAA launch this framework?
The Procurement Framework was launched to ensure remedial contractors appointed by The IAA to undertake remedial works under the guarantee. Those registered contractors provide assessed competent, provided value for money, and gave a high standard of customer service. This is to deliver a standard of workmanship by using appropriately trained and quality assured trades persons. In addition, removes the burden on the homeowner needing to obtain quotes, organise and manage contractors directly.
To maintain high quality standards, we do carry out a percentage of post work inspections which also enables us to address any concerns a homeowner may have following any works carried out in their home.

Want to become a recognised remediation contractor?
A further opportunity has arisen to extend the panel of approved contractors on the Framework and for new companies to come on board. In the event of a successful assessment you will be able to tender for remedial works carried out under the terms and conditions of the guarantee and in line with customer journey timelines. The framework is subject to its own bespoke terms and conditions and as all remedial contractors are representing The IAA, whilst on site a code of conduct for visits also applies.
A recognised contractor will need to demonstrate their ability to undertake remediation works to a high-quality standard that is in line with The IAAs commitment to customer journey timelines and policies.
The IAA works closely with its approved contractors to ensure works are undertaken in line with relevant Health and Safety legislation and Best Practice. Post surveillance checks are also carried out to monitor and ensure that works are undertaken to the required standard.
How to tender for work?
Your organisation will hold quality and customer service at its heart and will work with us to remediate domestic properties where there has been a claim under the guarantee. Contractors who are appointed to our framework will be eligible to use an e-tender service to quote for the provision of inspection and remediation works. Quotes will be awarded based upon cost and mobilisation times, with the most successful quote receiving confirmation to proceed.
Only remediation contactors who have submitted a successful tender will be provided with the opportunity to tender for works under the Framework in the first instance. As part of the tender process, the contractor specifies the scope of works that they can provide and within which region.
